Dr Mir Malkani
Mr Mir Malkani FRCS is a Principal of The Malkani Hair Institute and has been at the forefront of medical and surgical technological advances in hair transplant surgery in the UK. He is one of the handfuls of hair transplant surgeons who trained, introduced and started and FUE technique in the UK, a decade ago.
He became fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1997and since then he has worked in a range of Surgical specialities including Trauma Surgery, Dermatology and Plastic Surgery.
Mr Malkani has practised in Facial Aesthetics, Body Sculpting, Hair loss and Hair Transplant Surgery since 2004. Because of his surgical qualifications, skills, experience, and a thorough understanding of facial cosmetology, he has mastered and modified the most advanced and modern techniques and artistry in Hair Transplant Surgery. This is especially the case in Follicular Unit Excision more commonly known as FUE. Dr Malkani also performs FUT surgery on selected and suitable patients. Sometimes both techniques are carried out simultaneously on the same patient at the same time to enhance the number of grafts yielded on suitable patients. As a leading authority in his field, Mr Malkani is invited to give talks to members of the Hair Loss Industry.

Mr Malkani carries out all Hair Transplant Surgical pre Op assessments and procedures himself which includes excision and extraction of grafts and making incisions.
Mr Malkani’s experience of over four thousand procedures that he has performed over the years is at the service of patients who come to him for hair restoration.
